So I finally put my bike back together after...
It’s exciting to have it back! But I can’t get over how weird it feels to ride it now that it’s no longer fixed (the idea of riding a fixed gear in SF is terrifying).
So now that I’ve got my bike back, can anyone recommend any good bike shops in Oakland or SF? Or like… meetups or something?

Oh it wasn’t so bad. I was really just taking the train down to the Oakland Airport to meet my dad and brother. Then we came straight back to the center of the city to my fancy, downtown apartment. :P
Navigating BART at midnight with six giant pieces of luggage (and a cat) was super fun, though.
What am I doing right now?
Oh, just exploring Oakland’s public transportation at 11 at night.
Things to do:
Figure out how the fuck MUNI works.
For now, at least I understand BART.
